A Youngster's Future

The truth is, not every youngster in the world knows what they really want to do when they grow up.

Sure some of them may have already told you "I wanna be a doctor when I grow up!", but it may change their mind along their journey. Because right now, as our society improves and expand there's like a berzillion things changing and a berzillion things to do now. Parents listen up, everything you know about getting a boring part time job and get all excited about it is very old fashion and greedy. Well at least that's I see, I'm not like you corrupted people who works just for the money, that is to say, I rather work in a field that I like while being underpaid than being a salesperson in Parkson listening to those repeated songs which can cause brain cancer and getting paid about RM400+ a month.

I also thought that, since a berzillion youngsters don't really know what they want. Is that why universities exist just to fill up our time? Think about it, at first universities existed for the extraordinary minds so they can further their knowledge, not everyone can enter a university just like entering a super market, but as time pass universities have became a mainstream, now almost every kid can get in one without much effort. This world is fcked up.

I've met many people and many of them always give me the same answer, even when they are in Foundation year they still have no clue to what to do, maybe it's just me because msia is lacking behind too far from advanced countries, heck even in sports let alone e-sports, and too few mainstream jobs are on the line in msia which you know & I know & everybody knows. What exactly have our country achieved other than avoiding blood shed from acquiring independence? And no, spending a berzillion ringgit sending up a msian playing gasing in space is an epic fail.

To my mom who used to learn programming in her university years end up being a teacher, no offense but  what-a-waste. But will I end up like her doing something else aside from my media field? It would suck so much if it did. My bro didn't know what he wanted too, but then since his mind is so blessed in everything he does so nothing is a problem for him (except smashing in badminton roflol).

The future is indeed scary, but despite this it doesn't scares me at all because tomorrow's me will always be better than the yesterday's me. Merry Christmas +)

No turning back.

iMo: Surrogates, Jump & Avatar

Surrogates

When I watched the trailer I thought the concept was gonna be like The Matrix, well I was close. Instead of machines enslaving the humans, the humans enslaved themselves to the machines instead. The idea is cool though especially when you can control a humanoid with your mind, it's an excellent tool for RPG gaming I say xD

I know, I'm outdated ==

If you think about it, there is never a scene without
Bruce Willis in a hospital bed especially his action flicks.
[4/5 rating]

Jump (去)

Another Stephen Chow production, as always his films are always crappilyfunny with a number of signature elements in it (like an innocent character type) and always gives a message. iLike <3

It's recently out in the cinemas, go ahead & catch it. 4/5 rating babey~

p/s = Can't any pics online (o0) But the street dance moves are ILL (sick) man!! xD

Avatar

Fact: James Cameron has not directed any movie until this one since Titanic.
Reaction: wtf?

So today, I just watched Avatar with my family. The movie is at least 2 and a half hours long, it's slow pace at first so I was bored & the meter was at a failing rate (my dad slept at the earlier scenes lol~), so anyway the movie later got more exciting especially the war (woot). So in the end, I was really satisfied especially the graphics.

Ok I know I've saying graphics really doesn't matter in movies because it's expected, but this one is an exception! Can you imagine those blue creatures blending in with the environment perfectly as if they don't need any camera tricks? (but it's actually used), I mean what I'm saying is it really looks like they don't need any costumes or computer graphics editing you know what I mean? I'm guessing that no wonder it took almost a decade for James Cameron to direct this film, it's a killer for both the graphic & story.

Also...I would like to point out that many elements in the film somehow reminds me of WarCraft & StarCraft thingy. Well if you do play those games & watch the movie already, you'll get what I mean.

p/s: Oh yea, one of the dragons look like a Bahamut from the Final Fantasy series lol wicked~ xD

Ladies & gents, this is possibly the future of film making.

fear

I have come to a hypothesis that humans are literally afraid of any living beings as long it is not human, but it's true isn't it? Take this for an example of a girl looking at a harmless house lizard or a spider, the first instinct to do is scream.

Screaming is natural thing to do for humans, but overreacting over something so harmless is too over exaggerating. Listen noobs, that harmless thing that you keep screaming "omfg it's so ugly & creepy & disgusting." is not gonna killrapeeatyoualive aight? That thing is prolly thinking why are you acting like a retard, heck maybe you're a retardist (like Peter Chow says).

Talking about creepy things, I find it weird that if a person looks at a dead body or a zombie for that matter and ghosts, a zombie and a ghost has a human form but yet somehow we're still freaked out if we saw one. Why is that? Is it because of the way they look? Is it because they do not look normal like the rest of us? The dead-looking face, the pale white skin & with blood coming out of their eyes & nose (haha blood flu) somehow gives a chill down in our spine. Heck, even looking at a lifeless body with no disfigured look is enough to frighten us.

Oh well what can I say, I guess we just have to accept the fact that we are retardist no matter what are the small things that we are afraid of because God made us this way. Word~

Random Thoughts & Facts

  1. With my SC tournament just a few days away & being placed in the group of death, I'm still not training much for it because of Football Manager 09 ==But anyway luckily the group stage change again so it'll be easier to go through wahahhahahaha xD

  2. I find it funny that www.imeem.com protects artist's songs on their , thus only allowing a 30 sec clip of a particular song, but they don't do that to asian songs where I can rip it off for free. Hmm talking about hypocrisy.
  3. Zombie craze has been getting popular lately, you know & I know that. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out, a gaming company is planning to make a MMO of zombies! Sweeet~
  4. Reading the manga Fairy Tail really reminds me of my RO (Ragnarok Online) days, damn you developers for making the game imbalanced TT
  5. I realized that there is a lot of wedding ceremony going on this year, next week I'll be going for my 3rd wedding ceremony. It never ends ==
  6. Another movie about vampires called Daybreakers, geez stop it already it's getting cliche ==
  7. Youth today are looking for part time jobs because it's either their parents forced them to, or they want to, or they are too bored at home, or they are not innovative enough to entertain themselves so they become bored at home, or they don't have a hobby at all so they become bored at home, or they are just boring people.
  8. Romance/comedy genre in mangas will always have a character who is idiotic clueless of the obvious signs from the opposite sex that likes him/her and a character who wants to confess to the opposite sex but just can't do it because he/she thinks too much & most of the time ends up doing something wrong.
  9. I'm beginning to get tired of listening to Gospel songs because it seems that they're forgetting the meaning of Praise & Worship.
  10. It's December already ==

Vlogging

Vlogging is video blogging, which some of you might have seen on YouTube (or perhaps you are too busy with your barbie dolls) where various people post their thoughts there and share some laughter.

In case if you're too bored in your holidays you should definitely go check them out (the list below), sometimes you gotta know how to entertain yourself ya? Don't be a noob dumbo.
  • http://www.youtube.com/user/davidchoimusic
  • http://www.youtube.com/user/HappySlip
  • http://www.youtube.com/user/kevjumba
And you know what's the common thing from the list above? They're all Asians! roflol~ Such coincidence.

Talking about vlogging...my cousin has tried to attempt a few months ago, I won't put the link here coz he prolly won't approve of it for the epic fail (no offense bro). I think I would do vlogging instead of blogging if I had the equipments too, but I'm too poor to afford one (or rather I'm too thrifty to afford one lol), anyway although vlogging takes up more time and effort and editing to post a short clip, it's more effective than just blogging. Vlogging is another level of blogging if you ask me.

Well, maybe I'll take up vlogging one day when I change my laptop, whenever that will be. Gtg play Football Manger 09 now, enjoy your holidays while you can yo~
